The purpose of the BDigital Award for Digital Innovation is fostering innovative ideas and projects with a clear technological application, based upon results generated at companies, technological centres and universities, and innovative products and services, developed or under development, designed for encouraging an industrial use of the results and/or technology generated within the society of information and the digital world.
The awards are divided into three categories:
1. Projects by large and medium-sized companies
2. Projects by small companies and entrepreneurs
3. Projects by universities and institutions
What the Award consists of:
• The prize will be a Fujitsu laptop computer per winner.

The purpose of the BDigital City of Knowledge Award is the public recognition of the best initiatives (ideas, projects, research) centred on the social use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
A very special value will be attributed to solutions having in mind the socialization of the new technologies, in order to benefit the most underprivileged and the social segments running the risk of remaining excluded from a standardized access to the Society of Information and Knowledge.
Who it is for:
Any physical or juridical person may participate, either individually or collectively. Nominees may come either from the public or from the private sector, and the same person or entity may submit more than one nomination.
What the Award consists of:
• The prize money will amount to €6,000 .
